OUR STORY

Humble Beginnings

My passion for riding started over a decade ago working at various bicycle shops around North Alabama. Like any good bike shop mechanic I took my work home with me. It didn't feel like work at the time. I mean, it's my passion and I wanted folks to ride well maintained bicycles. Well, that and I was swimming in the beer they brought me as payment (I may still be guilty of accepting beer for payment).

After hours work was starting to become a full time practice and I was clean out of space; which made easy justification to build a two story power shed in the backyard for epic bicycle maintenance parties.  With that said, I still had a full time job and was burning the candle at both ends, until one day...

"Enough is enough. I quit"!  I wish that's how it happened... Actually, I got fired from my last bicycle job HA! And glad that I did. That experience drove the final motivating nail to build a nationally known bicycle shop right here in North Alabama; turning the least popular brand (at the time) into what people now crave....
